BABY is former Shudder To Think front-man Craig Wedren’s glam/disco/pop brainchild, originally released in 2004 on his own Nerveland Recordings.
“After nearly fifteen years of fronting Shudder to Think, I wanted to unlearn and clean the slate,” says songwriter and film composer Wedren: “I wanted to make an actual relevant new pop group to destroy all of the shit and to be The Shit. And I had to do it NOW!”
The spark for Baby was simply to take a familiar formula into uncharted territory. Wedren tinkered with a sequencer and guitar until the music made him laugh and run around the room. Once that happened, he enlisted friends and musicians and BABY was born.

The song “Get Your Body” is heavily featured on the upcoming DVD release of David Wain’s film Wanderlust (out June 19, 2012). Along with the DVD release, BABY will be getting the re-release treatment also on June 19th with a digital version jam packed with unreleased songs and demo versions. This record is just as relevant now as it was during the NYC disco craze of 2004
